Broomball Handheld Ice Resurfacer

Objective:
To design and develop a handheld ice resurfacer to remove bumps in the ice and provide localized melting for the broomball rink maintenance crew to lay down lines.
 
Overview:
Currently in its design stage, the handheld ice resurfacer will potentially be capable of removing bumps in the ice, melting ice for laying down game lines, and smoothly glide on the ice. The conceptual design is similar to the look of a metal detector, a propane heated base with a stick handle. The design must be able to complete its tasks within a reasonable amount of time and complete each rink without having to replenish itself. Design and physical model must be completed before first ball drop.
